Rad for Jesus? Have you heard this guys songs? As Lyrycyst he was rad for Jesus - now he's just rad for himself. Have you read the lyrics to Bigger? Steven Cooper says "i'mma be the biggest thing shining" Isn't that Christ? He also says: "i'm bigger than first or second" How did it turn out for Lucifer when he said that? He changed his name too.I think that Akon's portion of the song was the most positive, and the part from the former Chriustian artist Lyrycyst...self idolatry at best. Pray for Steven.
@C Dub Hi. No, I don't know much about his music. I subscribe to Rapzilla on YouTube and they upload various music videos. One day they uploaded this music video and I liked it. But I honestly don't know much about this artist. I wasn't aware of that. But, I will pray for him.
C Dub, I think you may be taking his lyrics the wrong way and out of context. To me he is saying he is going to be "bigger" then the industry he is in and he will be the biggest thing shinning, meaning his life and the way he lives is what will be shining. He did right the whole song so even the part Akon sings is still part of the song he wrote. And about the name change, I am pretty sure that comparing it to Lucifer is taking it a little far. It is like taking a single verse out of the Bible, if it is read out of context it can be taking and interpreted completely wrong.
Calling him Lucifer may be taking it a bit far, but I do agree that his song does appear to be promoting himself rather than Jesus. If he wishes it to be otherwise, it needs to be more clear.
