The full moon is seen as it rises near the Lincoln Memorial, Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Washington, D.C. The full moon tonight is called a "Super Perigee Moon" since it is at its closest to Earth in 2011. The last full moon so big and close to Earth occurred in March of 1993.
