The Depth Of Jealousy And The Deadly Attack. Vol. 3
Jealousy is an emotion and typically refers to the negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, and anxiety over an anticipated loss of something that the person values, such as a relationship, friendship, or love. In Cain’s case, he felt he lost his position as the first since his offering was not accepted.
You may get jealous in any of the following situations:
•when someone flirts with your girl, your boy, your husband or your wife
•when someone achieves something you’ve been wanting but haven’t done so yet
•when someone you hate succeeds
•when someone manages to get something and you don’t think they deserve to have it
These are all situations that can lead to that destructive path of jealousy. Today we are going to look at some of the causes of jealousy. This will enable you to deal and handle your situation with a heart that is release towards loving an amazing God. God is delivering this tip today for your liberation and total deliverance. This means that you are not created by accident. You were well thought of and planned before creation. In the same light, I have to say that you did not come across reading this today by accident but it was, predestined to. The answer you have search for all these years is right here waiting for you.
If you think because of the way he talked to her you got jealous; or because of the way she smiled at him you got jealous, you are wrong. Jealousy, like most other emotions, is rooted internally, so a big part of the problem lies within you not as an extension of external conditions or circumstances. The following are possible root causes of jealousy:
Lack of self-confidence: The main cause behind feeling jealous is you doubting your abilities or skills; if you are one hundred percent sure of yourself, you will never suffer any jealousy feelings or even if you do, they would be, brought down to a minimum.
Self-confidence is not a feeling of superiority, but of independence. Self-confidence knows that we have the capacity to do something good and firmly decide not to give up. Lack of self-confidence is a negative emotion or delusion, as it exaggerates one’s limitations in capacity, quality and potential for growth. Lack of self-confidence can be, made up of several different aspects like guilt, anger turned inward, unrealistic expectations of perfection, false sense of humility, fear of change or making mistakes, depression etc.
People with genuinely low self-esteem, a poor self-image and low confidence, have been insensitively lumped together with bullies, narcissists, criminals and child abusers. This is not really the case. Popular assumption was that people did bad things to other people because they themselves have low self-esteem. Nevertheless, if you have ever asked yourself: “Do I have low self-esteem” then I urge you to fear not. All the evidence points to the conclusion that low self esteem is a distinct condition, so if you do have self esteem you don’t have to feel that you are in the same group as bullies or abusers.
Research has found that people with genuine low self-esteem tend to treat themselves badly not other people. Stopping people being bullies by trying to lift their self-esteem may be like trying to get an obese person to lose weight by feeding them with lots of cake. The truth here is the fact that jealousy can result to the presence of low self-esteem, which is also the lack of confidence. How do I deal with this?
I need to summarize this. You need to recognize your insecurities. What does that voice in the back of your mind say? What makes you ashamed of yourself? This could be anything from acne, to regrets, or friends at school. Whatever is making you feel unworthy, ashamed or inferior, identify it, give it a name, and write it down! You can also tear up these written pieces to eliminate negativity and start feeling positive on those points. Acknowledgement is a key word on your way to self-discovery.
Even the most confident people have insecurities. Just tell yourself that you are awesome. “I am awesome and nobody else matters...” At some point in any of our lives, we may feel we lack something. That is reality. Learn that life is full of bumps down the road. Confident people do overcome their feelings of insecurities and this is what you need to do. You need to be an overcomer.
Everyone is good at something, so discover the things at which you excel, then focus on your talents. Give yourself permission to take pride in them. Give yourself credit for your successes. Inferiority is a state of mind in which you have declared yourself a victim. Do not allow yourself to be, victimized.

Jealousy is an emotion and typically refers to the negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, and anxiety over an anticipated loss of something that the person values, such as a relationship, friendship, or love. In Cain’s case, he felt he lost his position as the first since his offering was not accepted.
There are some basic root causes of jealousy, and I want to talk about these root causes but before I do, I want you to understand that there are two distinct kinds of jealousy. One is positive and the other is negative. One kind is positive and is filled with adoration, defence, protect and love. The other kind is negative, filled with condemnation, attack, exposure and hatred.
There is a whole set of list under these two endings. They all fall under being either positive or negative jealousy. Many names like in possessive jealousy, territorial jealousy, defensive jealousy, etc. have been, ascribed to an endless list of jealousy. No matter what name they are called they are either positive or negative.
God told man that he is a jealous God. This jealousy God has for man his unconditional, a positive kind of jealousy. We need to have an understanding of jealousy so we can manage and be in control of our emotions. No one is absent of jealousy. Let jealousy be your teacher. Jealousy can lead you to the very places where you need healing most. It can be your guide into your own dark side and show you the way to total self-realization. Jealousy can teach you how to live in peace with yourself and the whole world if you let it.
It was not the prayer of Cain that attracted God’s attention but his jealousy. God wanted to see Cain succeed. God was concern about his servant; he knew the pathway Cain was leading. He tried speaking to Cain to see sense but the anger and rage has far eaten in. Some of us pray to hear God speak to us. Those that wait hard sometimes feel neglected. The truth is that God is speaking but they are not listening. They are not quiet to hear God speak. The truth is you have not created a personal relationship with God. God is speaking to you but because you have not related with him to know him, you will continue in what you are doing even when it is wrong.
The main key here is insecurity. The threat Cain saw in the eyes of his insecurity was his own blood brother. He was insecure because he felt Abel was coming to over throne him. He saw this as an act of war and here Abel was his enemy. He wiped Abel and deleted him from the earth. Insecurity is very deadly. Three feelings are what we should be looking in terms of being deadly jealous. They are insecurity, fear and anxiety. These three connotes a negative kind of jealousy, one that can kill.
Situational jealousy will arise over certain issues in a relationship and need to be embrace to keep the relationship bonded. The best cure for neglect is of course to focus attention on that which has been neglected. I just do not wish to dive into the different types of jealousy kind here because the list is endless. Hear another type: Informative jealousy, on the other hand, is a message from yourself to yourself telling you that something in your life is wrong. This is a whole bunch of insecurity displaying in another pattern and form. Your mind is speaking negative to you.
We understand now what was actually going-on in the mind of Cain while he spoke to Abel. Note that God has tried to calm him down but he was too stubborn or rather angry to listen to God. He has made up his mind what to do. The anger has clouded his thought and he was unable to reason and make sense. He was a wounded man ready to satisfy his taste for blood that tastes for revenge. He was ready to take it on an innocent man because his informative jealousy pointed towards the direction of that man. The truth is if Abel did not offer a sacrifice, it would have been only Cain’s sacrifice on the table. Therefore, if this was rejected, it will not reduce him to nothing in the front of Abel.
He had the opportunity to present a better sacrifice than what he offered. Maybe he was selfish and greedy. Yes, he was selfish; we saw it in the fact that he was indeed a sociopath. Today I do not know what you are doing wrong and you know it is wrong but you have refused to reframe from doing it. You have been calling on God to bless that, which is wrong. You will only end up in fury, anger and pain. God cannot be mocked. He will only support what is right by his word. He will never support what is wrong no matter how you sugar coat it. This is a call for action. You must act now and do the right thing.

Genesis 4:4 & 5 (CEV) “and Abel also gave an offering to the LORD. He killed the first-born lamb from one of his sheep and gave the LORD the best parts of it. The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering, but not with Cain and his offering. This made Cain so angry that he could not hide his feelings.” As you read the Bible passage, you can see the level of anger expressed by Cain for his lost. He was so angry that he could not hide his anger. So what happened when Cain could not hide the terrible anger that was eating him slowly?
Genesis 4:6 & 7 (CEV) “The LORD said to Cain: What’s wrong with you? Why do you have such an angry look on your face? If you had done the right thing, you would be smiling. But you did the wrong thing, and now sin is waiting to attack you like a lion. Sin wants to destroy you, but don’t let it!” God did not neglect Cain in his self-inflicted anguish. He was concerned and he did approach Cain to calm him and to warn him about his reactions. Sin was about to possess Cain and destroy his future.
This story is not different from many stories or the life we all live. We make mistake and we refuse to take blame for our mistakes. We look for whom to blame and sometimes we make these innocent people our enemies. What is wrong with you? Do you really know what is wrong with you? This is a question to stop you from reacting and think for once. You are reacting because you are not thinking. Here God asked Cain the same question. He told Cain that he would have been smiling if he had done the right thing. The reason you are not smiling is simply that you have not done the right thing.
I now ask again, ‘what is wrong with you?’ This question wants you to analyse the situation and for once be truthful to you as you accept your role and responsibility in the whole matter. Before your anger explodes over the top, have you taken inventory of the whole matter? Have you asked yourself what is wrong and why is it that you are behaving the way you did. Do you ever feel at any stage that you are wrong?
The funny thing about this is the fact that the anger was, shown on his face. God wants you right now to look at your face in the mirror. He told Cain to look likewise and he is doing the same with you. As you get angry, no matter what the situation is, first God wants you to find out what is wrong with you. This will lead you to a massive discovery. This will enable you to take inventory of you and your eyes will be open. You might begin to say things like “when I was blind I was so damn angry, now that I can see I wonder why I was even angry in the first place.”
Cain refused to take inventory of the root cause of his anger. Since Cain refused to calm and see things the way they should, God did not hold back but to tell him the truth of the matter. Let us put it this when as God speaks now to Cain:
“Hi Cain, you are so vex and angry. Your anger is so deep that it is showing in your face, and it is now controlling your countenance and your attitude. You really need to drop this attitude and ask yourself why you have lost it this much. What is wrong with you that you have refused to listen to what I am saying? Why do you direct your anger to Abel who is innocent in all this? You should be blaming yourself and be angry with yourself. You have done terrible wrong. If you did the right thing, you would have been smiling now. You are not capable of smiling because you tried to cheat. Now that you have been caught, you feel ashamed and think you can blame Abel in order to restore your dignity. You made a terrible mistake and you are paying for it.”
Remember what we said about jealousy. Jealousy is an emotion and typically refers to the negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, and anxiety over an anticipated loss of something that the person values. Here we can see that Cain valued acceptance and he lost it. I do not think he valued the offering; this was why he gave any kind of offering. What you do not value with not put a smile on your face because you dislike it. Whatever on earth you do not like will not like you enough to work for you. If you want to reap what you did not plant, you will end up getting angrier than ever.

Psalm 115:16 says, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He has given to the children of men.” But does that mean mankind’s biblical dominion is limited to the earth? The context reveals that the passage has nothing to do with space exploration, and nowhere else in Scripture is the concept spoken of in a negative light. Remember that the Psalms are poetic literature, and sometimes they conceptually portray people or angels in heaven worshipping God.The essence of the passage is that heaven is where the throne of God is, and He alone controls heaven and the rest of the universe. Even if the Hebrew word is extended to include the atmospheric and interstellar heavens (as it often does), this still does not mean that God is prohibiting men from flying in airplanes or rockets, but rather that He is in control of these places as well as earth.

There's a gnarly urban legend going around in America that "our founding fathers were not Christians." That's a knee-slapper — America was without a doubt founded on Christian principles by bible-believing Christians. But it's no wonder that the rumor exists, considering the spiritual condition of the nation today. We need to pray not only that our country returns to its traditional moral values but also for the spiritual health of the Church. According to the bible, it's Christians that needs to take action and intercede for its nation:
"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Psalm 33:12
It's awesome that the United States of America still maintains the right to freedom of speech — a country where pastors and preachers can still share the full council of God according to His Word! It's also awesome that we still have the right to "freedom of religion" (although many are trying to interpret that as "freedom from religion"). So, let's make good use of our freedoms while the U.S. government still calls it legal!
Your challenge is to design a tee that is patriotic. Winners will get a $50 gift certificate to C28.com.

Dinosaurs Lived with People

Since the Bible is the Word of God, and since God cannot lie, then the Bible is trustworthy. That is our starting point. We are told that land animals were created on Day Six, and this would include dinosaurs. Since Day Six is also when man was created, we certainly believe dinosaurs lived at the same time as man. How do you explain the various petroglyphs of dinosaurs found around the world? How do you explain the fact that so many dragon legends from around the world describe creatures that match what we know about dinosaurs from their fossils? How do you explain the biblical account that seems to describe something like a brachiosaurus, called behemoth in Job 40:15–24? The easy answer is that people have lived with dinosaurs, which were often called dragons. Yet this conclusion is unthinkable for those who believe in billions of years.
