Do you ever consider the reason for your coming to the Savior? Was there a thorough knowledge of sin? Where did it come from? Try to relive the emotions of the day of your conversion. Did the Law condemn you? Did it send you to the cross? What part did your conscience play in your salvation? Did it suddenly come alive, or had it been speaking to you for some time? What do you think was your greatest sin? Were you afraid of God? Was there a knowledge of future punishment? Most of all, think of what would have happened to you if you had died in your sins. Then express your gratitude to God for that cross, where His great love was poured out for you, and let it motivate you to do His will and reach the lost. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.

Statement about My Blog

Just wanted to state the obvious and apologize that I've been behind on blogging for a while due to the extreme busy-ness of my life currently, and it might be the same in the coming months. However, I will probably continue to post from time to time as I am able to find the free time to come across some interesting and informative videos, articles and music. Relient K - Interstate Love Song

Covering the Stone Temple Pilots. This isn't a straight-up Christian song, but it's covered by Relient K who is a Christian band and I like the song. This song is included on their covers album called ‘Is For Karaoke’ which was just released back in October.

Speaking of this song, however, the Christian band ApologetiX also covered it back in the early 90's closer to the time of the original song, but the band actually made up new Christian-themed lyrics for it and changed the title to 'InYerFace Love Song.' I just found out about this band and their music. I like it better than a lot of other modern rock music these days because not only does it have Christian-themed lyrics, but the music is good and the singer doesn't have 1) a "whiny" pre-teen type of voice nor is he 2) screaming incoherently that I can't understand a word he's saying. I grew up listening to classic rock and alternative/grunge from the time I was very young, so I have high standards for the kind of rock music that I like.
